UK Dressage Stallion Denver LG

UK Dressage Stallion – Denver LG

Based at LG Sports Horses Stud is UK Dressage Stallion Dever LG.

Lauded as a Dressage Stallion this lovely horse has a pedigree to inject performance across all three disciplines. With his young stock taking premium gradings at this years BEF Futurity shows as both dressage horses and eventers.  This Uk Dressage Stallion,  Denver LG, is passing on the best of genetics through both his sire and dam lines. His own good looks and superb conformation are testament to this. He also has a wonderful temperament making him a joy to train and handle at the LG Sports Horses Stud near Macclesfield.

Watching the Uk stallion parade at Twemlows Hall last year I was impressed with him. He moves easily into the collected trot paces showing a freedom through his back and giving us a glimpse of the horse he will become. In his Piaffe he showed very correct collection with good hind foot flexion, the action of a true Piaffe. I am in no doubt that, with maturity, this eye catching AES Stallion will move, from truly impressive, to stunning in the dressage arena. He is short coupled with a wonderful shoulder and length of neck set well behind an archetypal KWPH head. His hind leg has freedom and power and the potential for real promise to excel in the footsteps of his sire Johnson (also known as Glocks Johnson – Verdi V) who was champion dressage stallion at his own licensing in 2005 . Johnson is the son of the Grand Prix Keur Stallion Jazz (Cocktail and Keur Flemmingh) On his Sire Dam Line he has Approved Oldenburg Stallion Sion and also Grand Prix Jumper it’s Otto and his Dam Line Granciano/Landino and also Grannus. Johnson was top competition stallion in 2006 & 7 and in 2007 also took the World Championship Title in Verden. And also won at M level in Stallion classes in 2008 and now has two approved stallions.

The Denver LG dam line (Godiva) is through Landino (Langraf 1) a prolific sire of approved and premium stock was placed 2nd at his grading with an impressive overall score of 137.79. His Son Lord Sinclair broke auction records at 2.8 million DM. Lanciano also bred state premium mares, 22 approved sons and his stock also broke records in the sale rooms and are proven in the show jumping arena. Godivas Dam “Grannschka” bred 4 approved stallions.

Denver LG is a modern Sports Horse with the best of both Dressage and Jumping Lines in his pedigree. He was the reserve Champion Dressage foal in the Netherlands and qualified to go forward to the National KWPN Championships in Ermelo in Holland. As a three year old he competed at the National PAVO Dressage Championships and qualified to go forward to the VSN Championships (Dutch Sports Horse Traders Association)

Denver LG has a profile on Horse Scout which can be found here where you can find more information on his breeding and also see the other stallions and horses for sale with LG Sports Horses.

Welsh Section C Stallion Coeden Daddy Cool

Welsh Section C Stallion : Coeden Daddy Cool

Coeden Daddy Cool A 13.2 Welsh Section C stallion with every box ticked.

Licensed with the WPcS Coeden Daddy Cool has the best Classic Welsh outline. Presence, performance and power all neatly packed into a great looking performance pony, with a temperament that will reassure breeders and clients alike.

Watching him at the RI qualifier at North Of England this April, his first time out since the Royal Welsh Show last year, he looked superb.  As he trotted across the diagonal he moved straight and true, his pace was elevated and strong but not rushed and he was so happy in his bridle.  He did look really lovely and to think that this is only his second season under saddle I believe Coeden Daddy Cool will be taking ribbons at all the big shows. His aim for 2015 is to qualify for the RIHS and HOYS in the ridden section C class and to begin his dressage career.  The long term aim is M&M classes and he is showing a good shape and attitude in his jumping.

End House Stud where so pleased with this colt foal out of their own broodmare Coeden Raine Drop that they bought her out of retirement to revisit the show ring and eight years on she showed she still had the class act to take home the champions ribbons. As a young horse she took the best ribbons at 10 of her 11 shows proving that the Judges where spot on when judging her breed standard and show ring presence. Quality always lasts. Coeden Raine Drop is ‘Synod Blood’ one of the most successful C showing lines in the modern ring.

On his sire side the Leyeswick lines in Leyeswick Hagro speak for themselves in Welsh Breeding circles.  This unbeatedn Royal Welsh Male Champion and Lampeter Champion, taking Gold, Silver and Bronze in the 2010 season.  Himself the sire of well respected performance ponies he is the son of  Leyeswick Flyer who is reportedly the best Section C stallion of this era he sired some of the most successful welsh ponies in the 90’s and noughties.

Carron Nicol Show Jumping Stallion Mr Visto

Carron Nicol Show Jumping Stallion : Mr Visto

Mr Visto is in the news; this Carron Nicol Show Jumping Stallion is Graded Elite AES  and a Silver Elite BSJA Stallion  who has already won over £7,000 and is well placed in the BSJA Horse League.

Mr Visto has all the well made good looks of a show jumping legend in the making.  He has certainly inherited his looks and ability from his sire Levisto, along with his easy temperament and, apparently, unruly mane!

Mr Visto is consistently successful in the arena and took the ribbons at The International Stairways and International trials at 1.55m level and was placed in The Queen Elizabeth Cup. To date he has a purse of over £7,000.00 Which is outstanding in horse his age jumping at this level.

One of the things that is  striking is his ability to take everything in his stride says Carron Nicol of her sisters’ Showjumping Stallion, Mr Visto.  “He has not ever stopped”, according to Carron, even taking his first encounter with The Dyke like any  other jump in the arena.  Carron is hoping  that we will see the pair of them at the Horse of The Year Show, just a few months away.

Caron Nicol aims for her Show Jumping Stallion? The Hickstead Derby…. Although she is thinking they might practice “the bank” first!

Carron Nicol says she has no doubt that he will make an Olympic Horse.  Carrons’ word on this is pretty much a sure fired bet.  She is one of the UK’s top show jumping producers and has 35 years of experience breeding, importing and producing horses through her very successful company European Sports Horses Limited which operates from the Rummer Stud in Warwickshire. Carron herself is a professional competitor in the international arena and, on Wednesday last,  she Won the National Ladies Championship at the Andrew Bowen Indoor Arena in a hotly contested final with 28 competitors with two double clears in an impressive 39.02 seconds on Mr Visto, at National Agricultural and Exhibition Centre (NAEC) in Warwickshire.

Mr Visto, this talented Carron Nicol Show Jumping Stallion,  is passing on his agility and athleticism to his progeny who are already proving themselves in the show jumping arena with his four and five year olds now competing.

From 2010

Fiorella (S & D Quigley) x Azon B by Concorde x Lanzara B / Recruit / Marco Polo( Marco Polo  also through Concorde) Winning consistently at 1.20m

Visto’s Travelchillo x Esh Pirana M.Ster. /Narcos x Diana /Grannus

Marinello x Bella Balquardro / Baloubet Du Rouet

Fantanland see his stallion listing on our Horse Scout Wesite

Fantom x Fantasia / Non Concorde (Concorde 1) x Kanimatta /Rex Magna XX

With 4 year olds Ramiros Visto x Ramiros Gift (Ramiro(?) Cor de la Bryere lines)

And with 8 yearlings and 2 year olds with some brilliant jumping lines (Accorado 1, Darco, Lux, Pilot the list goes on) we shall be seeing many more of his progeny on the international circuits in the future I have no doubt.

Levisto, a Grand Prix show jumper, competed at the World Cup Final for Sweden then in 2009 was on TheTeam GB team at the European Championships  in 2008. A hugely successful show jumper campaigned by Judy Anne Melchior over a 7 year career at Grand Prix, and he stayed at the top of his game through out.   Levisto is by Leandro /Langraf 1 and x the Grand Prix mare Chica Bay (Hirtin). His dam line by Ariadus/Acord 11. Its interesting to note that On his 3rd dam line is the AES/SHB_GB Elite Event Stallion Carousel an event horse sire. His linage connections have proven performance horses through out with some of the best bloodlines available.  He would not only make a super match for a show jumping pedigree but also work well as an improver line for eventing, and his temperament is a bonus particularly for those wishing to produce a quality riding horse.

To find out about this super talented Carron Nicol Show Jumping Stallion or to use him for your mare next year follow this link to his Stallion Profile Page on Horse Scout.

A Thoroughbred Eventing Stallion with so many strings to his bow.  Not only has he had a very successful career in a wide range of disciplines but his progeny too are showing clear star quality themselves.

Top sire young horses aged 4-8 ranked 14 (296 points) and 10th with 397 points in 2013 with British Eventing

In 2007 cousins, Catherston Dazzler (x Welton Gazelle Catherston Liberators Grand dam) and Catherston Liberator where both ranked in the Futurity Stallion Rannkings for three progeny with the highest scores as Dressage Sires

Catherston Liberator is an impressively well made stallion with the classic good looks of the best of thoroughbreds. His head and neck are set well on a good shoulder with a great coupling front to back and he stands four square.  He raced for eight years proving just how good his conformation is and how well his lovely well made legs have served him.

A Career that proves Catherston Liberator is the right Throughbred Stallion for Eventing Breeding

He followed racing with a career in Dressage (435 points: Advanced) and also taking a fair sized pot in the showjumping arena (£346: Grade C) and finished at the top of his game in Eventing (66 points: Advanced). Not content to rest on his laurels he has since been a schoolmaster at Advanced Medium for Jennie Lorsiton Clarks daughter and also taken the ribbons in Veteran Classes at the National Hunter Show classes too.

He has returned from Langaller Farm in Bovey Tracey, after five years, to stand at Catherston Stud and would make a valuable contribution to both amateur and professional breeding programmes.

Breeding that makes a Thoroughbred Stallion right for Eventing

Catherston Dazzlers’ sire Liboi ran 71 races both on the flat and over hurdles. He won 10 races and was placed in 23. That is a seriously impressive success rate!.  He was also a tough thoroughbred who retired sound despite an intense career on the track. He certainly deserved his Champion TB Stallion at the Ponies of Britain Show in both 1984 and 85.  He also took the reserve Champion (over 14.2hh) at the Essex County Show in 1987.

Loboi sired winners in both flat and hurdle racing and also in the show ring.  His other noteworthy progeny is the Graded Stallion Grand Prix Dressage Catherston Humbug.

His dam, Catherston Jetstream, had great breeding lines.  By the Dutch horse Jashin, who was sire of Olympic horse Sunny Boy and Beau Bravado.  Catherston Jetstream was a very successful Show Jumper with earning £2,000 in winnings.  Catherson Jetstream bred 5 foals. Her own progeny taking top places at Futurity  and her daughter Catherston Dream Machine bred Catherston What A Dream, a sliver medal British Warmblood who competed at Small Tour and also Catherston Springstream who took Champion Hunter as a foal and is successfully competing BSJA.
