He has stood Champion at many National county shows including, the Scottish Chaps National, the Highland Show, Fife Show, and Great Yorkshire along with other wins in Sport Horse classes.As a four year old he jumped double clears in British Novice. Discovery and Newcomers. He qualified for the Royal Show potential showjumper, the Royal International Horse Show BSPA Ridden finals, Burghley young event horse, Arena UK 4 year old SJ championship, and the Scottish Sports Horse 4 year old showjumping sport horse series along with numerous overall Championships in ridden sport horse classes often standing vainquer to older competitors. Winner of the five year classes at Bicton and the six year old class in St Legier Switzerland with additional placings at RII with Rudi Wallerbosch.Umenno has since been sold to South Africa and has dominated the showing circuit with multiple wins and Championships.Frozen semen is still available for distribution within all EU countries, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the USA.

The family Loriston-Clarke and friends have managed to purchase this horse from his breeder and are very excited about producing him next year as a stallion and dressage horse. He has fantastic paces, a lovely temperament and loves jumping so is an ideal sire to breed quality dressage horses and eventers. His Sire, Totilas was World and European Dressage Champion, the first horse to win all three available gold medals at a World Equestrian Games in 2010. His name is legendary and was the first dressage horse to top 90% at Grand Prix level and at that time held 3 world record scores. His dam, the International Small Tour Dressage mare Samira, was ridden by Jane Gregory and is by the Dutch stallion Sion. Timolin was presented at the BEF Futurity as a yearling in 2012 where he was awarded the Overall highest score of all Dressage Yearlings with a score of 9.38. A very good Elite score. In 2013, as a two year old he was shown at both The Royal Bath & West Show and Devon County where he won his classes and was Sports Horse Champion at both shows. He also did the Futurity in 2013 where he was Reserve Overall Dressage Champion two year old with a score of 9.34. He was also graded as BWBS stallion this year. Last year, as a three year old he again was presented at the BEF Futurity where he was the Overall highest score of all dressage three year olds with a score of 9.43. This score of 9.43 is the highest score recorded so far ever for a three year old dressage horse and he has the highest scoring average of any horse or pony ever, presented at the Futurities three times. He also attended the Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain Stallion Grading where he was Graded and Champion. Timolin has 9 foals eagerly awaited in 2015 and some will probably be shown in Sport Horse Classes as foals.

Harthill Stud boasts- Honour Cruise, he combines an exceptional jumping technique with superb correct movement and conformation. He was selected by Oliver Townend and Nina Barbour from the 2009 Elite 3 yr old sale at Cavan. He combines the very best of Irish bloodlines and has the blood and quality needed to be a top-class athlete. Honour Cruise has a fantastic, trainable temperament. Jumped a double clear in his first event, a BE100, at the end of the 2012 season with Oliver Townend, finishing on his dressage score of 25. In 2013 Honour Cruise completed his first full season, finishing the season with a consistant record at Novice level. Finishing in the top ten on five occasions.

Oliver Townend and Horse Scout

Horse Scout are supported by the Yorkshire born and bred Oliver Townend, now based in Shropshire, and is involved with both his own event horse production at Gadlas Farm, but also Harthill Stud. Oliver inherited his love of horses from his parents. His mother Eve showed side-saddle at county level and his father Alan competed successfully in three day eventing. His early success was gained on a 14.2hh pony Cool Mule, with whom he won a class at the Horse of the Year Show and also represented Great Britain on the Pony Eventing Team at European Championship level.

In 2005 the Hon William Russell’s Topping provided Oliver with his first opportunity to ride at Badminton where he finished in 12th place; earning them selection to the FEI European Championships,Blenheim, that year. Edward and Robert Nicholson’s Flint Curtis took over as Oliver’s top horse in 2006 after achieving third at Badminton with Oliver, the horse’s first CCI4* event. Oliver remained on the British Squad, riding Flint as an individual at the Aachen WEG that year, before earning his first team place – and a European Championship gold medal – at Pratoni in 2007.

Among many international successes, Oliver was the triumphant winner of both of the world’s largest three day Events in 2009, taking both Badminton and Burghley winning titles.

Dutch Gold

Dutch Gold retired at the end of 1992 having competed at Grand Prix level since 1985 and as a leading member of the British Team at the Seoul Olympics and the European Championships every year since 1985. Although more famous for his dressage, Dutch Gold has produced many very exciting eventers. Being ¾ Thoroughbred, he has all the speed and stamina required of today’s modern equine athlete.

Dutch Gold is suitable for crossing with all types of mares. He produces big, quality foals with substance, excellent temperaments and great presence. His stock inherit beautiful paces with swing and elasticity essential requirements for today’s competition horse. He has sired 2 BWBS graded stallions in Catherston Goldstorm and Dutch Dream (now exported to USA where he is competing very successfully in the dressage arena) and each of these have now sired their own graded sons in Catherston Gold Eagle (1998 Champion) and Catherston Dougal (Best British Bred – British Dressage National Championships as a 4 year old) respectively. Dutch Gold is the sire of Elite Stud Book mare Catherston Deal in Gold as well as the grandsire of 2 BWBS graded stallions.

Most notable of the progeny competing in 2000 was Tina’s Gold ridden by Lucinda Fredericks. In just half a season Tina’s Gold gained 152 points in Horse Trials and moved up to be ranked 27th in the top 100 horses in the world. He won Wilton Intermediate, was 4th at Brightling Daily Mail Advanced before taking 2nd place at Gatcombe Intermediate Championships. Tina’s Gold then went on to win Blair Castle CCI** and was 4th at Pau CCI*** thus qualifying for Badminton 2001.

Dutch Gold is proving to be a very highly influential Dam’s Sire. He is the Grand Sire on the Dams side of Olympic Eventer Borough Penny Z and the young Borough Free Flight as well as many others.

Dutch Display (was Callow Hill) completed Bramham CCI*** and Lion D’Angers CCI***, qualified for the World Equestrian Games in 1994 and finished 1st Gatcombe 1997.
