Eddy is a talented, genuine and versatile athlete.
His breeding speaks for itself, featuring many of the best dressage bloodlines. Both his sire and maternal grandsire were ranked within the top twenty dressage stallions worldwide last year.
He has been slowly and professionally produced here since he began his ridden career at three years old, and he has been a pleasure to work with.
Dressage has been his primary focus. He has excelled as expected, literally always finishing in the ribbons. He regularly scores over 70% from List I judges such as Jennie Loriston Clarke, and his rideability in the arena makes him consistently competitive. His supple, swinging walk is usually rewarded with 8s and 9s.
Eddy is currently working towards medium level, with established counter canter, leg yield and shoulder-in.
While dressage has been Eddy's priority, it has not prevented him from receiving a proper allround education. He has jumped, evented and hunter-trialled, proving to be willing and rideable across all disciplines. He also loves hacking alone and in company, even in heavy farm traffic.
Eddy is a gem to deal with around the yard. He's good to do in all ways, to clip, shoe, load, lead and turn out. He'll happily live out at night and he travels well in both a lorry and a trailer.
Eddy deserves a competent, competitive home where he can continue to realise his potential.
