Beautiful 15hh sporty coloured cob.
Merlin is a striking 7 year old piebald gelding. He has lovely paces and has very scopey jump!
He is really safe with a confident rider and he has been ridden by all abilities.
Enjoys his work, he is starting to work in a outline, we haven’t rushed him so he is confident in everything he does, he’ll give anything a go.
We bought him in November 2017 as broken but green. He was very nervy on the ground to start but he has really come out of his shell and is a loving cheeky character.
He Jumps confidently round a 90 course with ease. Isn’t phased by fillers, water trays etc, careful but bold.
Jumped at training shows, and cross country schooled. He is very bold, happy to jump everything first time.
Jumps hunt fences out hacking or opens gates, good in traffic and will lead or follow. Will make a awesome hunter!
Forward going and reactive to aids, safe and lots of fun. Still green but learns quickly and he’s ready to go on and compete and do a job now.
He isn’t a total plod but he has never done anything wrong with us.
we have hacked him with a total beginner onboard, and he was a gem.
Happy to hack alone or in company and is always ridden in a snaffle.
Good to handle, load, turn out, tack up etc. bare foot at the moment with very good strong feet.
We have had lots of fun educating him and he’ll be dearly missed.
