By Wish Upon a Star (Gribaldi) out of Jonella (Jumbo)Willow is a super smart young horse, currently competing at BE90/100 with very good results, double clears and some very impressive dressage tests including one 18.8.Her sire is the Advanced eventing stallion Wish Upon A Star by the legend that is Gribaldi and her dam Jonella is a full sister to the young Jumbo son Philanderer II who is following in his father’s footsteps and currently competing very successfully with Libby Seed. Needless to say with these fantastic bloodlines Willow has a very bright future ahead of her. Bought as a 2 year old, she has been carefully home produced by an experienced amateur. In her flatwork Willow is working at Medium dressage level with established lateral work, she has showjumped to 1.10 and been placed at this level and she has very promising BE results including a Double Clear and 8th place at West Wilts her first BE100.Willow is bright, quick to learn, scopey, very careful over a fence and thoroughly enjoys her work. She is very quiet to handle, very good on the lorry, travels to events with a gelding and never gets silly or marish at all. She needs very little warming up to produce her excellent dressage results and is thoroughly straightforward and easy at events. She is good in traffic, hacks out alone or in company and is good with the farrier etc.Although this year I have very much enjoyed being an event horse owner and going out and about with Willow, after much soul searching I have decided to offer her for sale as she has grown into a lovely mare with fantastic potential. She now really deserves the opportunity of a kind, knowledgeable, competitive home on a one to one basis where she will continue to progress through the levels and become one of the bright stars of the future.
