West Kington Stud, owned by Tim and Jane Holderness-Roddam is based just 5 miles south of the famous Badminton Horse Trials in North Wiltshire. It has 25 stables, a horse walker, a 46m x 20m outdoor arena, lunge pen, cross country schooling fences and wonderful hacking country. The hilly area is ideal for fittening work and there are several cross country training courses within easy travelling distance. The competition yard is run separately but in conjunction to the renowned West Kington Stud and Stallion Centre. There are usually a variety of homebred horses and ponies for sale. The Stud, run by Tessa Clarke, also incorporates one of the largest AI collection centres in the country and is proud to be standing Chilli Morning, WEG Bronze medallist 2015 and the only stallion to have won Badminton Horse Trials. Cevin Z, owned by The Billy Stud, sire of two Olympic eventers and numerous show jumping stars stands at WKS . Welton Double Cracker, International eventer carrying the famous Welton bloodlines, is owned by WKS. Windsor Heights is a versatile allround stallion suitable for all activities, again owned by WKS.
