NORTH FARM STUD

Wantage, OXON
About us and what makes North Farm Stud different? As well as being renowned for its tranquil, private and secluded location, the 400 acre Stud is determined to bring out the best from the horses in its care. North Farm Stud enjoys a range of state-of-the-art facilities, monitored and maintained by an experience team to offer a truly unique equine environment. The Muir family has a lifetime's experience of horses and specialise in first-class care, tailormade to the individual needs of each horse, whether for convalescent nursing care and rehabilitation livery, mare broarding and foaling, sales preparation, education or breaking and pre-training regimes. We are conveniently located amidst the rolling hills of the beautiful Berkshire Downs only seven miles from the M4 (J14) and close to Lambourn (in the Valley of the Racehorse) – the largest racehorse training centre in the South of England, with its excellent specialised veterinary and allied services. With 200 acres of superb horse pasture maintained to the highest standards, and surrounded by farmland, it is a tranquil and safe enviroment for youngstock and older horses alike. Only the best quality feed and hay are used for both mature horses as well as youngstock. We use our own blend of feed, mixed on the premises, with the addition of special vitamins and mineral supplements supplied by a qualified equine nutritionist. We strive to provide the best care and standards in everything we do and as a team we look forward to working with you.
