Jackie has been involved with racehorses all of her working life, firstly with Point to Point horses in the South West of England and then with National Hunt horses in the UK and NZ. More recently Jackie had a small yard in Perthshire, UK, where she was Pre-training and freshening up horses for other trainers. After a move up to Aberdeenshire and a successful period as a permit trainer, Jackie was then granted a full licence in 2015. Having the full license allowed Jackie to race horses within rules under her own name.
Since being granted her full licence in 2015, Jackie has had several winners including Amilliontimes who won four races consecutively in 2016 as well as being in the top three placings in his previous five races. We have also had wins from Mo Rouge, Bright Prospect and Ballinvegga to name a few.
We have a very hands on approach which involves working with each horse individually over a period of time, trying to understand how to get the best of them. We believe in keeping them fit, healthy in body and happy in mind.
