Hill Farm Riding Stables, Hunting yard and Pony Club centre

Freshwater, Isle of Wight
We are set in the beautiful west wight with views of the Solent on both sides and excellent hacking Country. Family run since 1965 and now run by only two generations our successful stables is the oldest yard on the island. We pride our selves on our quality horses and ponies who are all well bred, well schooled and forward going, mainly ex eventers, dressage and show jumpers. As well as our beautiful Bridleways, lanes and Afton and Tennyson downs with views far reaching over the west Wight, Hampshire and Dorset, we have a beautiful small Bay with safe beach riding, deep paddling and for the very experienced riders, swimming. We also have a cross country course with over 50 fences from 24” upto 3’3” for all abilities. The school although only 20mx40m is sunken, enclosed and rubber surfaced with mirrors, we have a small selection of show jumps for lessons both for those just starting and those who want to improve. Call us to discuss your requirements, whether you’re a complete beginner, wanting a good ride over the downs, or your looking for a hireling to go out with the IWFH or the Farmers IW Bloodhounds. We look forward to meeting you.
