Casanova was purchased from the Elite Foal Auction in Verden. He is out of the unique Lauries Crusador x Rubenstein lines which needs no introduction and is by the much celebrated stallion Contendro’s Bube. His sire is the handsome offspring of the powerful Contendro I and successful Pik Bube lines, who finished his performance test as the Reserve Champion with outstanding results all around with 9s for temperament and willingness under saddle. In 2014 Casanova was assessed by the Anglo European Stud Book who were so impressed by his quality that they awarded him the FULL LICENSE STATUS. This is usually reserved for stallions who have shown exceptional talent in the age classes, so it is a very rare accolade for a two year old! Casanova is a modern type Hanoverian with three extravagant and correct paces. He attended the British Warmblood Show as a yearling where he was placed 1st by two foreign judges.
