Description

Charlotte started riding when she was two years old and joined the Pony Club as soon as she was old enough. There she successfully competed in teams for Dressage, Show Jumping and Eventing. Following on, she competed her horse primarily in affiliated show jumping before turning her attention to dressage. Charlotte joined the UK U21s Dressage Group where she was fortunate enough to receive training from some of the countries top international dressage riders and trainers as well as attending her regular weekly lessons, which she had done from a very early age. During this time she also had the opportunity to compete as part of the UK U21 young rider team, including the winning Young Rider Team in Wicklow,Ireland 2009- an invaluable experience! Working as a freelance groom and rider for six years provided Charlotte with extensive experience in a wide range of disciplines and allowed her to expand her knowledge further by working for some top riders/yards and schooling a wide range of horses and ponies. Alongside this she continued regular training with her own horses and competed at affiliated level with her own and clients horses. Charlotte is now based at a wonderful, purpose built yard where she trains and produces horses and ponies at all levels for showing and dressage. As an experienced, quiet, sympathetic rider Charlotte offers a wide range of services to suit any need. With a fantastic team around her, from help on the yard to the best team of vets, farrier, physio, chiropractor and dentist, she aims to aid every horse in achieving its maximum potential. She currently trains regularly with Matt Frost, Adam Kemp and Rob Lumb and competes up and down the country with great success including wins at county and national level.
