TOP PROSPECT FOR BD TEAM QUEST
Rotherbank Bobby Dazzler, or Bob to his friends, is a lovely genuine chap with bags of personality. He is almost black except for stockings behind and a white patch on his tummy. We have kept his feathers and long flowing mane and tail.
His attitude to work is excellent and he would happily spend every day in the school, but he also enjoys a hack, either alone or in company. He loves pole work and has popped logs and water ditches out hacking.
Bob was backed last July and competed at his first competition at the end of October when he was a creditable 3rd in a big class. Since then he has won 3 more classes with excellent comments from the judges.
He shows real ability for a young Cob and is very agile with a lovely rhythm to all his paces. For his young age he has done incredible well.
Bob is now looking for a small adult/mother child share where he can become part of the family and still continue his education. He would easily affiliate and compete at Intros/prelims/team quest this year. Given his attitude to work, in the right hands there is no reason why he could not get to BD Medium and beyond.
It is rare to have so much talent in such a young pony yet still be able to go for a hack and have fun.
Bob is unshod, but good with the farrier, vet, clip, lorry, etc. We have not found anything that worries him.
However, Bob is forward and by no means a plod, and he is still very young. Hence he is not suitable for novices or nervous riders. Also, what he lacks in height he makes up for in stature, hence he would not be suitable for a young child.
We would love to follow Bobs progress in years to come. He is loved by everyone so this is a difficult sale.
