Raindancer is a stunning 14.2hh 2008 irish Connemara dapple grey gelding (10 yrs old). Stable name Oisin.He has 3 beautiful, powerful and expressive paces paired with a very athletic build, riding like a small horse. He is always willing and loves his work – a very fast learner. He is one of those rare ponies whose calm temperament ensures he rides at events just like he does at home. He is a confident pony who always gives 110%. Loves a ride in the sea at the beach – not phased at all by the waves. Raindancer would be suited for any discipline; he has competed unaffiliated dressage to novice level with scores always above 67%: he even has represented his local riding club at BRC area and national dressage championships where he placed 10th individually at Novice level at the 2016 BRC Summer Dressage Champs. He has also shown at our local riding club previously where he was very well known and constantly winning (he was overall club points champion and junior champion with his rider at the local club from 2013-2015 across all disciplines showing, dressage, WH, SJ and ODE). Has also competed at county shows such as the Great Yorkshire Show where he was not phased at all by the loud, busy atmosphere. Showjumped unaffilliated up to 1m with plenty of scope and will quite happily pop fences of 1.20m+ at home. Raindancer has also qualified for the David Broome, Sunshine tour and Trailblazers unaffiliated Showjumping championships on numerous occasions. Competed British Eventing from 2016 where he competed successfully at BE90 in his first season before moving up to BE100 level in 2017 where he still boasts potential to move up the levels with a competent rider and more experience. Whilst he has not evented BE this season due to my sisters GCSEs he has still competed regularly unaffiliated and recently won both his novice dressage tests with 68%+.
100% to deal with in all ways: dentist, farrier, vet etc. no vices. Up to date with farrier, vaccinations, and teeth.Good with small children and will happily let my 2 year old son brush and pet him and even sit on his back in the stable. Hacks out alone or in company. Living out in summer. A pony with a huge future ahead of him with the right rider and bags of potential. Not a novice ride as he is a pony who knows his job. 5* home absolutely essential as very sad sale of a much loved pony due to commitments with my sisters A Levels.
