STUNNING COMPETITION AND HUNTING PONY - CHARLIE FOX
Welsh Section C Chestnut Gelding 13 years 13.2 hands
Charlie Fox has been in our family for 3 and a half years and has been hopelessly outgrow.
His greatest love is Hunting and he has rarely missed a Saturday with the Beaufort Hunt behaving beautifully in the large fields and jumping hedges, walls and timber with ease.
He is a versatile pony who has competed at NSEA show jumping champs for 3 years (70, 80,90cm), won unaffiliated or NSEA classes at all those heights and competed for the Beaufort Hunt Pony Club. He was in the winning 80/85cm team at Gatcombe last year and they were 3rd this year.
He has evented both NSEA and PC including West Wilts, Stonar, Shipton Moyne, Rabson regularly in the ribbons in teams and individually. Placing 3rd most recently in the Silverton Pony Club 80cm at Pontispool
At tetrathlon he has been part of many successful mini (80) teams including Ledbury, Beaufort, Wylye Valley and the inter area at Bicton gaining plenty of 1400 rides.
He was part of the Parade of Hounds in the Main arena at Badminton Horse Trials this year and handled the crowd and atmosphere with ease.
He has slip collected at the Gatcombe Festival of Eventing twice negotiating the heavy crowds calmly.
He has Pony raced at Cheltenham coming 4th out of a field of 12 behind the thoroughbreds.
In his previous home he showed successfully to county level, we have done some Working Hunters but it's not really our thing.

He is a very responsive pony so not for someone coming off a kick along, he will give the right jockey huge amounts of fun and success but is not your classic second pony.
He is easy to shoe, load, clip, wash etc and has only seen the vet for teeth and vacs whilst with us and his previous owners.
A 5* hunting home is very important for this super star.
