Melody is a 8 year old, Grey Connemara Mare by the sire Mairtin Phaidin Nhoir, Dam Carnaree Betty out of lines of I love you Melody and Abbeyleix Owen. She has proven to be a very talented, brave and willing Pony in every discipline, professionally broken, been in the same home since a 2yr old, always been an easy mare to work with, never dirty or marish, a type that is truely hard to find.
Showjumped/schooled to 1.20, definite potential for jumping the bigger tracks having finished in 2017 jumping a very strong Mini Grand Prix with ease at Cavan Equestrian in Ireland. Due to no rider in 2018 to continue on with her SJ, we decided to try her in the world of Working Hunter Ponies & Connemara's and well she took to it like duck to water! In her first year out (2018) she competed in all Open WHP 1.10 classes and Open Connie WH/Qual 1.10 getting super comments from the judges definitely a Hoys potential. As well as the above, she has every potential to being a great Event pony what with her super movement for dressage, her careful & scopey jump for the showjumping and her brave attitude with the XC, its all there!

Winner of TRI Connemara Sports Challenge league. 1st Killossery S/Pony challenge, Meath, 1st Ravensdale S/Pony Challenge,Louth 2nd Tattersalls Open 153 WHP. 3rd RDS Connemara qualifier- Longford. 3rd Connemara Open WHP Northern Ireland festival,Cavan Equestrian.
In 2017, she SJI Qualifying for the 6/7 year olds 'Starfinder' in Barnadown Wexford
7th in 6/7 year olds Cavan Equestrian. 4th Mullingar Equestrian 1.10 and so many more to mention.
Melody always wants to please in and out of the ring, pleasure to have on the yard, great to hack, super on the beach, just a great mare all round couldn't fault her.
This is a very regrettable sale of such a super mare and she will only be sold to a 5 Star home especially having been in the family since a 2 year old. A very competitive pony who will only be sold to a 5* competitive home. High budget for this extremely special mare. More photos and videos available.
