It’s with a heavy heart I write this.
Looking for another best friend for “Zak” aka Penclwyd Jim 7yrs
Handsome Dapple Grey 12hh Section A Gelding. Very sad sale of my daughter’s talented and well known best friend. Bought him as a 4yr old and my daughter of then 8yrs has ridden and brought him on in her chosen discipline of dressage with an uncompromised education from her International Grand Prix Dressage Trainer and Godmother.
We have done some successful showing at the beginning of his career in lead rein then first ridden and equitation classes winning red 9 times out of 10, but I didn't enjoy the long days. He also has a cracking pop in him and would make a fab little worker both cradle & M&M.
In such a short space of time they have created a positive name for themselves. With the mutual love and trust they have for one another they won red on their very first both showing and dressage outings and have gone from strength to strength with consistent wins far too numerous to mention including dressage scores of 66% to over 80%.
Attended many Byrds (BD Youth) comps and Camps, winning their first Fledgling badge on their first time out.
Qualified numerous times for different Champs 2016/17 and now competing Affiliated Prelim/Novice.
Done PC dressage area champs last two years running and won both levels on the same day each year.
Competed Regional BD Youth Regional Champs 2018 and came 2nd with 86.6% in C Squad test.
Selected for BD Youth C Squad 2018
Competed at Inter Regionals 2018 coming 7th in the Individual pre test with team C squad scores of 78% and 81%
Qualified for 2 BD Pet Plan Area Festivals in only 3 outings 2018
Qualified Area Festival Final 2018
Qualified for BD Sheepgate U25s 2018
Qualified for BD Native Champs 2018
Qualified for BD My Quest 2018
AND ALL DONE BY A CHILD RIDER
Perfect manners on/off/stable and for farrier (barefoot), catch, travel. Hacks out alone and in company and good in traffic. Loves beach rides and cantering around fields. Absolutely loves kisses and cuddles and a lovely chap to be around.
Zak will only go to a vetted 10* knowledgeable home, as he deserves no less. If you’re a knowledgeable mummy with a talented little rider who is looking for a consistent pony in dressage or showing then Zak could be for you.
