Heartbreaking sale of a pony of a lifetime - we have owned May for just over two years; in that time she has taken my daughter from jumping little 80 unaffiliated tracks to premier BS technical tracks; culminating this year in them competing at the Springboard championships and taking on Winters tracks.May is a 15-year-old, 138 mare; impeccable manners both on and off the ground - she is the sweetest pony both in the saddle and on the ground; an absolute delight.She is well known both on the BS affiliated circuit, as well as the Schools NSEA. She has qualified in every class that she has competed in to compete at the National Schools championship; both show jumping and arena eventing. In fact, she has just qualified for Hickstead main ring next year as well as Windsor.
May's sweet spot is 1m/1.05 and with a smaller, confident rider would take on Winters. She's great in a jump off as she's not only speedy but can turn on a sixpence.Although not our thing she has this season been talent spotted as great potential for a Working Hunter; not only has she got the jump, her composition as a Welsh D is spot on with potential as HOYS finalist She is a rare type; she loves her job and is a delight to own; super easy to keep and deal with, whether that be at home or stuck on a lorry/trailer all day.
