Shanbo is a 14.2hh, 9 year old, Connemara, grey gelding. Shanbo only started his eventing career at the start of the 2016 season and has proved to be brave, bold and genuine. He has an excellent attitude and loves his job and in just one season has moved up to Novice where he has jumped double clear on 3 occasions!
He tries his hardest at all times and his near faultless record cross country shows he really enjoys the job. He is snaffle mouth at all times and jumps skinnies and into water, ditches and corners, he has no hang ups at all. He has excellent paces and has produced some very smart tests. He has top 10 placings at Novice in his first season eventing and there is so much more to come.
He has also won unaffiliated. We really believe that with the right child he will go to the top and at only 9 years old he is a rare find. Shanbo would also excel at pure show jumping with masses of scope and potential. He is a much loved pony with fabulous manners being ridden and on the ground, with a willing nature. Easy to clip shoe box etc. He hacks out alone or in company and is good in traffic.
