A lovely 16.3hh full Dutch Warmblood gelding, 8 years. Beau is a lovely impressive individual with superb paces and a good athletic jump, a very smart prospect ready to move up the grades. He is a very straightforward easy ride and a lovely horse to have in the yard.
It would be nice for him to excel in dressage as well as jumping so that he has some variety in his job, which is what his trainer does until he sells.
Already winning at Advanced Medium level with ease, gaining over 75%. This horse would not look out of place at affiliated competitions.
Has been jumping single fences of up to 1m10 + at home and gives a good feeling with a neat and tidy technique.
Willing to stand on the lorry between classes without pawing or calling, good to tack up on the lorry and sensible when riding from the lorry to ring etc. travels well with no banging or fidgeting. Schools well on the flat with three comfortable, loose paces. His riding qualities make Beau particularly suitable for juniors\YR or lady riders looking for a talented and reliable partner. Has been ridden by an 8-year-old child on the lead rein and was very safe and sensible.
He is good to hack out alone and in company. No vices around other horses and just a general pleasure to ride. Very easy to handle on the yard, bringing in and turning out, grooming, tacking up, vet, farrier etc.
Generally good with clipping and trimming but a little sensitive around the ears. His whole history is known and seems to have been enjoyed and cared for by the past owner. 5* home required as only for sale due to a very sad reason.
