Roo has been there and done it all, Hes competed low level dressage, showjumping, xc and fun rides. I have known roo for a long time and thought he would be the perfect horse for me after a long break and having a baby.
He's good to hack in company, will hack alone but needs to be given some assurance as can be nervous and looks at things.
He isnt the type of horse that needs to be ridden everyday, he is quite happy to be tacked up as and when.
He was previously used in a ridding school for a few years and then sold on to a private owner for over five years.
He doesnt kick or bite, a real pleasure to catch, clip, shoe, load etc. He is happy to be stabled or 24/7 turn out either separately or in mixed herd.
Rooney isnt suitable for novice riders, although he is sensible he can be strong at times and forward thinking.
I often have group lessons and he can slip back into riding school habits with wanting to follow the horse in front.
Jumping, rooney loves it and i have found him to be a real confidence giver, he never stops or runs out. He has only been jumping around 80cm with me but has done more when others have ridden him and is more than capable of clearing 1m, as he loves to jump he can be very forward going.
He would suit a confident teen or adult looking to do various disciplines.
Genuine sad sale with a change in family circumstances.
