Kiera is by the world renowned Dimaggio, out of a Winnetou (Wineburg mare). Dimaggio (now deceased) was one of the most successful and influential dressage stallions with a long list of successful offspring. His own achievements include numerous championships, Prix St Georges and Inter I competitions as well as the highly sought after title of World Breeding Champion (2000). He is by the great Don Primero (sired by the world renowned Donnerhall). Don Primero again competed successfully at Prix St Georges and Inter I level. He also won the German Dressage Horse Championships and was the world's leading dressage horse sire for four consecutive years. Kiera's own dam was a successful eventer. Kiera is a beautifully put together, compact mare with straight powerful movement. She has a phenomenal trainable attitude and works well under saddle. Although dressage bred, she does have a good pop and she is currently jumping a 1m course at home. She has also jumped our cross country fences - she is bold and brave having never looked at a filler, water tray or tyre. Hacking wise she has predominantly gone out on her own and again she is generally very brave. She has seen some light traffic and plenty of farm machinery and is also well used to dogs, ducks, bonfires, tarp etc. She has been out for arena hires and is ready to start her affiliated career She has a beautiful temperament ; she doesn't need riding daily - I have gotten straight on her after 5 days off without issue. She is extremely bright and trainable and she thrives on variety. She is a real people person and always easy to catch - I can grab her from a 2 acre field with her work bridle. I can wash her off totally loose in the arena and just tie her up for a bath. She's good with her feet / farrier and is only shod in front. She travels well in a side lorry, however in a trailer she does prefer a bit more space; i.e. a full breast bar. She's currently living out and is a fairly good doer. I'm looking for a 5* home for Kiera that I can keep in touch with - she is only for sale as I am going abroad for the next year. She would be most suited to a capable competitive rider who can bring out her full potential. Open to vetting, trainers welcome
