Description

Rooks Corker is the ultimate X Factor sports pony stallion and is sponsored by the top horse feed producers, Bluechip for 2016. Rooks Corker combines stamina, speed and athleticism with the most trainable, endearing temperament and essential bloodlines to create the ultimate FEI sportspony. His German Reitpony bloodlines consist of exceptional TB/Arab and Welsh Sec B blood. The Welsh Sec B, has been described as the Thoroughbred of all welsh ponies and the Brockwell and Downland lines were the most sought after in England in the 20th century. They were subsequently selected by the Germans and added to their winning recipe of the German Reitpony. Emma Martin, breeder and owner of Rooks Corker selected and trained, as youngsters, several talented German Reitponies and sold them into the UK between 2006 and 2009; Spot Awole, Waleska, Maxwell and Rooks Nepomuk to name but a few. This led to her carefully selecting and purchasing Rooks Corker's dam, Steinmelodie to go to No Limit and thereby combine the bloodlines of the very best of these ponies into Rooks Corker The ablility of these bloodlines is shown by Spot Awole, who is by No Limit and out of Steinperle II (who like Rooks Corker's dam is a granddaughter of Steinblume), who ridden by event rider Emily Proud, achieved outstanding results: Winner Burghley Event Pony final National schools Elementary Dressage Champion National Schools Eventing Champion Junior Regional Novice Winner at Wilton Pony Club Open Eventing Winner on DRESSAGE SCORE of 18! Winner of BE JUMP TRAINING on penalty of 1 Numerous BE, Dressage and SJ wins. " A pony of a lifetime, the very best" (Emily Proud)
