Description

Experienced TREC coach with full range of mobile obstacles, available for training in your field/arena. Sessions available for all levels of experience and confidence.

The skill, trust and partnership of horse and rider are developed and tested around a obstacle course that simulates real-world challenges to go over, under, around or through. Riders learn how to safely and calmly tackle the obstacles both ridden and on the ground.

Obstacles are fun for horses and riders of all shapes, ages and sizes, and my training style is relaxed, patient and encouraging. Try a new discipline with your horse - it's great cross-training to break up the routine, helps with de-spooking, improving confidence and general life experience.Youngsters and non-ridden horses welcome.

Have a look at my website www.trec-training.uk or www.facebook.com/trectraining for more photos and information.

2019 availability very limited - as of 10/1/19 weekends are booked up until mid September. Some weekdays are available.

Ethos and about me I have been a TREC judge for 14 years, and throughout that time have given lessons for riding clubs. I have been self employed as a TREC coach and TREC judge trainer since 2015. My training sessions are relaxed and designed to be fun for the horse as well as the rider. Less confident riders can push their comfort zone in a safe environment and all will increase the life experience of their horse. Rewards and calm approach/retreat are used to help horses learn to think through problems.
