Ned is a very special pony that every competitive child dreams of. He easy to do, kind, flashy, talented and "super" fast and most importantly a confidence giver. My daughter has gone from jumping British Novice to Newcomers in 1 year!
Ned is a complete schoolmaster, he does all his own changes and will sort his own stride out if you get it wrong!
He is super safe and level headed and hacks out sensibly alone and in company and never gets silly in open spaces.
Ned came to us with a completely clean BSJA sheet as he has come from an eventing background. We have intentionally tried to keep his points low and he has not been over jumped. Therefore Ned does a beautiful dressage test and is also awesome XC. His real talent however is in the showjumping ring and is very fast against the clock. Ned schools around 1.10m at home and the photo attached is from last week in the very big Newcomers Jump Off.
Ned is without a doubt a pony to be looking out for in the Newcomers 2nd rounds this year and the best is still definitely yet to come.
I would like to see Ned go to another child and give them the confidence to go up the classes as he has done for my daughter. Ned is a huge part of our family and we would like to be able to stay in touch and follow his progress, he is very much loved and the best home possible for this boy is a must.
Practical stuff: Good to hack, load, clip, shoe. Not spooky or silly when hacking, can go in front or behind. No vices and never been ill or lame. Stabled at night and only fed hay & chaff. Loves to be fussed over and groomed.
