Leading Lady • Chard, Somerset, UK

Shown in hand on the county circuit as a 2 year old. Broken as a four year old Leading Lady is currently reg BSJA with points. In 2014 she has been jumping consistently both on surfaces and grass. She has been jumped at Discovery level and been 2nd. She has been placed in a derby class, taking banks, skinnies, water trays and a double of natural ditches all in her unflappable stride. she won a 95cm amateur class and was 2nd in 105cm class. On these occasions she has been much admired She has done some dressage tests scoring high percentages (in the 70's) at crickland qualifiers and has improved with each outing and received positive remarks from judges She has also been well cross country schooled being forward and straight and an enthusiast to all types of fences. Including banks, ditches and water She is very easy to handle, good to clip shoe catch and load. Even my small children pet her in the stable She rides out happily on our busy working farm, often herding sheep and cattle, and has been very good with large farm machinery, she has been excellent with all traffic. She is also quite happy to ride out in groups and on her own and often hacks with my small children on their ponies She has had a really balanced education with her future in mind. She is now BE registered and in 2014 was placed in her first BE90 Port Elliott - Made nothing of the muddy conditions, also placed at Larkhill BE 90 with a double clear She is reg BSJA and BE for the 2015 season and is fully fit and ready to go for this season. She has been to a couple of BSJA shows jumping double clears and picking up minor placings. And has been well cross country schooled both on all weather and grass. Reminding me how straight, sensible and brave she is. This is great opportunity for someone to get a naturally athletic and talented mare who is also completely uncomplicated in the brain and ready for an exciting future. She is very trainable, quick to learn and physically tough, and has a lot to give. Her jump has been greatly admired by Vicky Brake ( international 4 star eventer and producer of top class horses - inc Imperial Cavalier and Call again Cavalier) and Emma Fisher (British Eventings Young Rider team trainer) She is sweet natured, she is good fun safe and has a can do attitude that will take her far in life and makes her a very easy person to have around. She has had recent time off for a splint. But is now back in work and ready to go.
