Since he was imported in 2011 he took 12th in the Masters Class at open medium level (best placed pony) and 2nd in the Premier League. A leading dressage pony at the Winter finals and also the National Championships in both 2012 and 2013.

He was the first pony to meet the High Performance Criteria and he certainly deserved his place as a member of the First Irish Pony Dressage High Performance Squad.

Speed, endurance and power are exemplified through his successful progeny. Power Blade’s dam’s sire, Forties Field, is also an influential competition stallion. Power Blade’s full sister, Fine Fields, evented internationally in the USA. Power Blade show jumped up to 1.30m before he retired to stud. In 2005 he was crowned Croker Cup Champion at the Royal Dublin Horse Show- a prestigious class for stallions.

Filesco Sports Horse Stallion with Olympic connections is profiled on Horse Scout

Filesco – nephew to the Brazilian Team’s Olympic Jumper ‘Wilexco’. This Dutch Warmblood stallion has home-bred progeny ready for sale this year.

Three of the sweetest colts by Filesco are up for sale by West Country Sports Horses in Cornwall. Adam Ellery has certainly produced some stunners! All of this year’s crop are advertised on Horse Scout sales pages.

About Filesco

Filesco has a wonderful stamp to him, flowing over his fences and as he works beautifully on the flat.  At only six years of age, he has his whole career ahead of him. His progeny showcase his athletic build, setting them up perfectly for a successful jumping career.  Their pedigree is built on quality jumping lines with Boss VDL, Indoctro and Nimmerdor all in the family tree.  Filesco’s dam is by Phin Phin (v.Chin Chin)- she is also a beautifully made KWPN approved sports horse.

Boss VDL was a Champion Approved KWPH Stallion who shone at his stallion testing, scoring 8.5 for his reflexes, readability, scope and canter.

Elegant Filesco filly available through West Country Sports Horses

This beautiful and graceful filly is out of a Silvio II mare.  Silvio II (v.Sandro Z)  was an Approved Oldenburg Stallion- sadly now deceased- who also produced some excellent dressage horses. His granddaughter is described as having a great temperament and as showing herself to be very athletic. She is a quality filly by anyone’s standards.

Ali Royal.  Looking for an eventing career she was schooled by Matthew Hall last year and is showing great promise over show jumps. Sligo Candy Boy Irish Sports Horse Stallion Progeny for Sale on Horse Scout

Sligo Candy Boy is an outstanding Irish Sports Horse Stallion by Balou de Rouet

The Irish Sports Horse Society describe him during his second stage assessments as “…a very attractive modern sport horse. He has a quality in all paces with a light balanced canter. When jumping he has excellent reflexes, with good bascule. He is very good behind and a little open in front which is understandable for his age (4 years). He shows ample scope and looks very careful, obedient, responsive and willing.” He is certainly a wet made good looking stallion standing in Sligo for Padcraig Howley.

Balou de Rouet, his Sire, is a consistently popular stallion with an excellent temperament and movement with a powerful jump.  In 2013, the year of Sligo Candy Boy’s Stallion testing in Ireland, Balou De Rouet was ranked  77 (WBFSH stallion list) in the world and the following year made a meteoric rise to 36th due to the successes of his offspring.

Another stunning youngster by Candy Boy Sligo, x Princess Cool Diamond, is this gorgeous 3 year old.  Has done well at the Dublin Show and is riding well showing promise for jumping classes next year.
